Welcome toDecisionized™

Getting Decisionized™ – being decision ready – is the foundation for unfolding your full potential and creating direction in your life, your leadership and your organisation.

THE METHODOLOGY

Management, Leadership & The Good Life

Getting decision-ready – getting decisionized – grows out of the ML&G methodology, which starts with the understanding that leadership begins with yourself. It is the ability to turn uncertainty into direction by making decisions that you and others trust – and choose to follow.

01

Management

Management focuses on results and human productivity.

02

Leadership

The Decision Recipe™

How to make decisions – for the future

  1. 1

    Relation

    Trust comes before the question.

  2. 2

    Result

Define the outcome the future must deliver.

  3. 3

    Decision

Commit yourself – a decision is a choice, not a feeling.

  4. 4

    Followship

Decisions only become real when people follow them.

The sequence in The Decision Recipe™ is critical. It ensures that decisions do not remain abstract but are translated into action through people. Decisions only become real when people choose to follow them.

INDIVIDUATION & DECISIONIZED

Behaviour never stands alone

Decisionized™ – being decision-ready – means consciously choosing how to act so that decisions are carried forward through the commitment of others. However, behaviour cannot be viewed in isolation; it must be understood in the context of the individual and their role.

ARE

Person

Describes who you are: personality, experience, competencies, motivation and history. It explains, but must not govern the future.

DO

Behaviour

Is the observable behaviour that others experience. It creates followship.

MUST

Role

Describes the future requirements of the role: responsibilities, tasks and results. It sets direction.

Between ARE and DO individuation takes place. Individuation is understood as the ability to choose your behaviour independently of who you ARE.

Being Decisionized™ – being decision-ready – means being able to make and carry your decisions about the future without letting ego, fear or history dominate – and deliberately choosing the behaviour that allows others to trust the decisions and follow them.

It is about unfolding your full potential and creating the good life you want.
